Supporting Special Needs

We are so excited that you and your child(ren) will be joining us at Star City Church! We want you, your family, and your child(ren) to be supported in attending service. If your child has a disability or other special needs, we would love to set up a meeting to:

Tour the Sunday School facility
Create an “Sunday School individualized education plan” to best support your loved one
Discuss Sunday School options, so that your child is placed in the right classroom and given appropriate care according to their needs. These options include:
- Sunday School: attending class with accommodations or supports
- Buddy Program: volunteer on site to provide one-on-one support to enable children with special needs to fully participate in Sunday school
- Sensory-Friendly Classroom – A classroom dedicated to a safe and fun learning experience with adapted lessons
